Having resource monitor generate reports doesn't really help with wanting to have that information readily available in real time. Open Hardware Monitor allows you to display all details (temperature, storage space, clocking speeds, etc) of each individual component in your computer. It displays the graphics card details in the form of statistics. For just a lightweight small overlay though there's absolutely heaps of apps/programs, 100's, you can even just use a widget to do it.Īs said though, if you have an Nvidia GPU, then the software for that comes inbuilt with an overlay containing that information, that can be accessed at any time with ALT+R. GPU Tweak is the popular GPU monitoring software for Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 PC that helps in keeping an eye on the performance of the graphics card installed in your system. Besides tracking CPU/GPU temperatures, NZXT CAM also monitors other areas such as CPU/GPU load, Current FPS, and time played. This is perfect for gamers who plan for hours-long playtime or anyone who uses their PC extensively in one sitting. Within Task Manager, navigate to the Performance tab and locate your GPU performance monitor. With NZXT CAM, you get real-time temperature monitoring for your PC. I don't know of a program which do that as an overlay tho.Īs for not having to tab out, both resource manager and resource monitor can log in their reports.Ĭore Temp is definitely useful for extensive information, same with things like HWmonitor. You can now look down and see your keyboard cycling through RAM usage, CPU usage, GPU usage, and the temperature for your CPU and GPU Step 4: Customize the System Monitor display (optional) Click 'configure' to change the format and amount of data that is displayed on your keyboard. The temperature monitor is found in Task Manager. It shows me all those infos in my task bar. Completely free to use, aside from the widgets dashboard. Keep track of your system temperatures and usage. Use an Android app to transform your phone into a system monitor.
